Ready for a career change? Want to further your floral knowledge? Then this is the course for you! Receive hands-on instruction from industry professionals as we gather weekly to discuss and execute some of the most daunting arrangements in floral design. We'll give you the tools and techniques to become fluid in floral design. We'll show you how you can be profitable with your dream career. Arrangement styles that will be taught in this course, include: foam designs, sympathy/funeral pieces, wedding and special events, arch pieces, major installations, and more!
This is a 10-week program. Classes will be held each Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm-8pm starting October 1st through December 12th. We will not have class on the October 31st, or the week of Thanksgiving.
Tuition includes: a personal designer toolbox complete with your very own floral tools, flowers for each session (most you get to take home with you!), hands-on designing at various Nashville venues, professional portfolio photos, and a wholesale membership card to the Nashville Flower Market!

Q: What happens if I can't make it to class?
A: Most students miss one or two classes. You can pick up the flowers within a day or two from the scheduled class and review the cirriculum with another student.
Q: Where is class held?
A: Most classes are held at the Nashville Flower Market, with the exception of a few classes taking place at local Nashville venues! Can you say, "FIELD TRIP!"
Q: What is the appropriate attire?
A: Closed toed shoes that are comfortable standing in, layering is always a smart choice - especially if you need to walk through the cooler of fresh flowers, clothing you are okay making a mess in! You will be given a heads up on upcoming classes that will have a professional photographer present, so you may dress accordingly.
Q: What do I need to bring with me to class?
A: All of your tools, floral supplies, and flowers will be provided. Just bring a positive learning attitude and be ready to design!
